Mabel Earlene "Madea" Simmons is The Protagonist of Tyler Perry's Famous Madea Franchise. She is a sassy Grandma Who has been living in Atlanta, Georgia since the 1950's, (or 1972 depending on the continuity) , she was born on June 26th, 1935 (or anywhere from 1943 to 1952 also depending on the continuity). She is younger than uncle Joe. She is inspired by Tyler Perry's Aunt and Mom.

Madea is known around town for being a criminal and possible felon. Only folks who don't know her attempt to even cross her, and they instantly regret it, and a lot don't live to tell the story. She helps out many families with their rogue children and abusive parents.
Childhood[]
Madea was born in Greensburg, Louisiana,[1] and at some indeterminable point she and her family moved to New Orleans. As a Little girl, Madea was very Fierce, and fought for what she wanted. Living in a house with seven other people she had to learn how to be strong. Unfortunately this also meant she learned how to be scandalous and mischievous as well, at 9-years-old, she was arrested and charged with petty theft. Growing up her mother Big Mabel was a stay at home mom and was very stern, feisty, and harsh with the fellow children, and her less then smart father Frederick Sr worked in a sawmill where one day a log fell on his head and after that day he never functioned too well mentally. She was never lonesome as she had a sister named Irene, and a four brothers; Joe, Heathrow, Frederick Jr and Willie Humphrey. As a young girl she was close with her five siblings.
Life as a teen and young adult[]
As a Early Teen Madea may have drifted away from her parents and siblings, because when she was around 13 or 14 she would meet and fall in love with her future husband, a man named Johnny, and in June 1950 at Roughly 15 years old, Madea would wound up pregnant by him, however they would break up shortly after their child, Michelle, was born in March 1951. and Madea's family left New orleans moved to Atlanta, Georgia Madea was 16 by now and she would attend Booker T Washington and would be correctly predicted by her classmates to end up jail sometime in adulthood, and Madea began dating Her High School classmate Mr Leroy Brown, mostly because she felt pity for him as no one in school hung out with him very often and also because her parents liked his family. at age 17, Madea and Brown ended up having a daughter named Cora Jean, and Brown would infamously pay little to no child support, Shockingly in Madea's Big happy family it was revealed that Brown is in fact NOT Cora's Biological father. after breaking up with Brown sometime in her early twenties, Madea would have Over eight Disastrous Marriages all ending with each of her Husbands being landed in early graves, and somehow she ended up birthing only one child in the middle of all of this, William Simmons whose father was Madea's 2nd husband and Michelle's Father, Johnny.
Personality[]
Madea is a Sassy, Feisty, Angry, Violent, Murderous and aggressive woman, but she's also a wise individual who uses her own experience to help young woman going through struggles she went through when she was younger, she is however completely merciless towards her brother Joe Simmons, and Frequently says she can't wait for him to become Maggot Food, which essentially means she can't wait for him to die, sometimes she even says she'll kill him, however she is way more gentle towards her other brother, Heathrow, who in return is pretty civil towards her, however Madea Will put him in his lane if needed, Madea is no-nonsense and she will peek out Stupidity easily, she is a protector and will defend those close to her, the best example is Her Daughter Cora Simmons who Lillian Mansell who almost got her Behind beat when Madea misheard something she said as "Cora", overall Madea is a Honest and Loyal Person who does not stand for Mistreatment and who demands Respect (find out what it mean to me).
